Automatic system recognition

One Controller for 12V or 24V Battery Systems

Connect the battery first and the controller automatically identifies a compatible 12V or 24V system. Keep the solar array open-circuit voltage within the confirmed input limit for the detected system.

PWM solar charge controller automatic 12V and 24V system recognition

12V Battery System

Maximum solar-array open-circuit voltage: 25V.

24V Battery System

Maximum solar-array open-circuit voltage: 50V.

Battery First

Connect the battery before the solar panel so the controller can identify the system voltage.

Select the correct battery profile

Three Battery Programs

Set the battery type before operation. Charging values must match the battery manufacturer's requirements, especially for lithium-based batteries.

B1 — Lead-Acid

For compatible 12V/24V flooded, sealed, AGM and GEL battery systems.

B2 — Lithium-Ion

Preset for a compatible 3S lithium-ion battery pack. A battery-management system is still required.

B3 — LiFePO4

Preset for a compatible 4S LiFePO4 battery pack. Confirm the charging limits before use.

Information at a glance

LCD Monitoring and Simple Controls

View system voltage, solar charging status, battery level, DC load state, timer mode and battery selection. Adjustable float, load-disconnect and load-reconnect values help tailor operation to a compatible system.

Settings are stored after configuration, reducing repeated setup.

Three-Stage PWM Charging

Bulk, absorption and float stages manage compatible batteries through the charging cycle. Equalization must only be enabled for a battery type whose manufacturer specifically permits it; never equalize lithium batteries.

Protection for Everyday Operation

Integrated protection functions include overcurrent, short-circuit, reverse-polarity, open-circuit, overcharge and overload protection. Dual-MOS reverse-current control helps reduce unwanted backflow and heat generation.

Protective functions supplement—not replace—correct fusing, cable sizing, breakers, ventilation and proper installation.

Useful beyond charging

USB Power and Programmable DC Load

Two USB ports provide a combined output of up to 5V/2.5A for compatible small devices. The DC load terminals support manual, timed and dusk-to-dawn operating modes for suitable low-voltage loads.

Choose the Current Rating for Your System

Choose according to the array's short-circuit current, battery charging requirements, wiring and protection devices—not by wattage alone.

Selection chart for 10A through 100A PWM solar charge controllers
Variant Listed Max PV Power — 12V Listed Max PV Power — 24V
10A 120W 240W
20A 240W 480W
30A 360W 720W
40A 480W 960W
50A 600W 1200W
60A 720W 1440W
70A 840W 1680W
80A 960W 1920W
90A 1080W 2160W
100A 1200W 2400W

Manufacturer-confirmed ratings. The controller current rating, battery's permitted charge current, cable capacity and protective devices must all be suitable. Keep total PV open-circuit voltage at or below 25V on a 12V battery system or at or below 50V on a 24V battery system.

Compact indoor installation

Easy to Mount, Important to Ventilate

Four mounting holes and a compact enclosure make installation straightforward. Mount vertically on a nonflammable surface in a dry, ventilated indoor location away from rain, condensation, direct sunlight and heat sources.

Controller size: approximately 133.5 × 70 × 35 mm. Gross package weight: approximately 150 g.

Connection sequence

Connect the Battery First

Battery

With all breakers open, connect the battery first so the controller can identify the system voltage.

Solar Panel

Confirm polarity and PV open-circuit voltage, then connect the solar input.

DC Load

Connect only a compatible low-voltage DC load within the controller's load rating.

Important safety notice: This is a PWM controller, not an MPPT controller or a general-purpose voltage stabilizer. Never connect an inverter to the controller's DC load terminals; connect the inverter to the battery through correctly sized protection. Use external fuses or breakers, suitable cable, correct polarity and the battery manufacturer's charging limits. Installation by a qualified person is recommended for higher-current systems.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this an MPPT controller?

No. It uses three-stage PWM charging. Do not describe or install it as an MPPT controller.

Does it automatically detect 12V or 24V?

Yes, after the battery is connected first. The controller must detect the battery voltage before the solar panel is connected.

Can I charge a lithium battery?

Only a compatible battery pack using the correct B2 or B3 profile and a functioning battery-management system. Confirm all charging voltages with the battery manufacturer before use.

Can the USB ports deliver 2.5A each?

No. The listed maximum is 5V/2.5A shared across the two USB outputs.

Can I install it outside?

No. The enclosure is intended for a dry, ventilated indoor location and must be protected from rain, condensation and direct sunlight.

How do I choose 10A through 100A?

Base the selection on PV short-circuit current, battery charge-current limit, system voltage, cable size, fuses and breakers. If unsure, ask a qualified installer to size the system.
